Module 1: Storytelling with Purpose

What we cover:

• How to make a story with a clear start, middle, and end

• Bringing characters and feelings into your story

• Using your voice to keep people interested

• Adding things like props to make your story come alive

• Telling stories that have a lesson

Outcome: Kids will learn how to tell stories that make sense and sound interesting.
Activity: Make up and tell your own story using props.

Module 2: Expressive Conversations

What we cover:

• How to match your tone and feelings to the situation

• Using facial expressions and gestures when talking

• Listening carefully and replying well

• Speaking clearly and at a good pace

• Being kind and understanding during talks

Outcome: Kids will get better at chatting and listening.
Activity: Have a puppet talk using feeling cards.

Module 3: Describing Things Clearly

What we cover:

• How to describe people and things so others can picture them

• Using words that show what you see, hear, and feel

• Explaining stuff in the right order

• Adding details to make your description interesting

• Playing games to practice describing things

Outcome: Kids will get good at explaining stuff clearly and in order.
Activity: Describe what’s inside a mystery box.

Module 4: Intro to Debate

What we cover:

• Saying if you agree or disagree on simple things

• Taking turns to talk without interrupting

• How to disagree nicely

• Saying why you think something

• Doing short group debates

Outcome: Kids will learn to share their opinions and listen to others respectfully.
Activity: Mini-debate on “Should kids have homework?”
